NAUSICAA is a dialogue between two like-minded musicians Simona Severini and Jacopo Ferrazza, who after years of acquaintance meet for the first time on a stage.

NAUSICAA represents the coexistence of two distinct attitudes, the relationship between song form and jazz, between structure and improvisation, between impetus and intimacy.

The repertoire consists of songs of their own composition designed for this project, songs by Joni Mitchell and other composers, reworked through a minimal sound but with great expressive power.

Nausicaa will record the first album next fall.
